Tawfic Amandi is the Founder and Principal Lawyer of Amandi Law, a Toronto-based law firm serving clients across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and throughout Canada. He provides compassionate, strategic, and results-driven legal representation in Immigration, Refugee, and Family Law.
Tawfic’s commitment to advocacy is deeply personal. Having come to Canada as a refugee at the age of sixteen, he understands firsthand the challenges individuals and families face when navigating immigration systems and legal uncertainty. This lived experience informs his empathetic approach and allows him to guide clients with clarity, respect, and care.
A graduate of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law (JD), Tawfic has developed a strong legal foundation through his work with respected organizations such as the FCJ Refugee Centre and Islamic Family in Alberta, where he assisted vulnerable individuals and families with complex legal matters. He is also part of Deloitte’s document review roster, adding depth to his analytical and technical legal expertise.
As a Toronto immigration and family lawyer, Tawfic represents clients in matters including permanent residence applications, refugee claims, family and spousal sponsorships, study and work permits, as well as family law issues such as separation, parenting arrangements, child support, and spousal support. He serves clients throughout Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, Vaughan, and the wider GTA.
